Have you sacrificed your-self to God?

Romans 12 verses 1 and 2, «I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.»
Living in God means dying for sin. Our bodies mustn’t have anything connected with the works of the world and only then God Him-self will dwell in our life, and only then He will manifest Him-self through us. For often times we ask our-selves why people don’t repent; we witness to them for a long time but they don’t come to God. Simply put this: you haven’t sacrificed your-self to God. Galatians 2:20, «… I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me…»
We have to present our bodies as a living sacrifice to God and then God will work through us. Do we still pity our-selves? Do we want to let go of our desires? Yes, because our body will become God’s, and everything we used to love before will loose value for us; those things won’t bring us joy…
Hey, do you still call your-self a Christian? Just know, there is no other way, «If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which [temple] ye are.» (1Co.3:17). We have no other way. God calls us to holiness today. Don’t defile the temple. Present your-self as a sacrifice and accomplish a reasonable service God!

Who has the fear of God – respond!

Once as I woke up during the night I realized that having the fear of God makes you feel comfortable. What is the fear of God? For often times in life we experience fear which is not a happy feeling, is it? But I have realized that with the fear of God you experience quiet different feelings and sensations. I even felt for a moment how it should be. It made me think and ask God how can I get this special kind of fear, and why do I need at all?
Next morning I started looking for the answers in the Bible. This is the only book God Himself can speak to us. From the book of Proverbs I understood that fear of the Lord is to hate evil; I should stray away from sin and any sinful surrounding should vex me! For often times we feel attraction to the world and everything it offers us. Every morning as we wake up we have our head full of thoughts, wrong and right ones. We get into a trolleybus full of people that are in a hurry to move off or get in and we feel like anybody else to say something rude to someone in order to show that you’re able to stand your ground. Oh, at those moments we even don’t think that we need the fear of the Lord.
In the book of Proverbs 22:4 I read, «By humility [and] the fear of the LORD [are] riches, and honour, and life». We must to humble our-selves before God, before His greatness. We must experience His redemption on our behalf. He died for us so we could be free of sin which means that sin shouldn’t be our pleasure; on the contrary we have to hate sin. Only by dwelling in this condition we will begin to experience the fear of God.
In addition to say if I have the fear of God I am to be content all the time. That means that I am to be happy in any situation in my life! And this is cool. This has nothing to do with the formal happiness which we show every time we’re asked, «How is life?», our smile is artificial and the answer is, «I am doing fine!». This is real feeling of joy, which overfills your whole body while others wouldn’t see any reason to be happy about. Be happy! If I have the fear of God my life is void of worries. I have nothing to be afraid of! There is no fear in God!
Oh, how wonderful it is to have the fear of God!
Isaiah 33:6, «… the fear of the LORD [is] his treasure.»
Is the fear of God your treasure?
